Therapy is a unique experience for everyone. It begins with sitting together in a private and confidential space, where you can bring whatever thoughts and feelings feel important.
Together, we can explore how these may connect with your present relationships, earlier experiences and, at times, what happens between us in the therapy room. Developing a deeper understanding of yourself can help you process unresolved experiences, make sense of difficult emotions and create meaningful, lasting change.
I have experience of working with:
• Neurodiversity, including ADHD, ASD, AuDHD and dyslexia
• Anxiety, depression, stress and low mood
• Self-esteem, confidence and identity
• Relationship and family difficulties
• Sexuality
• Intrusive thought and OCD
• Trauma
• Unresolved childhood experiences
• Shame, anger and emotional overwhelm
• Feeling stuck or facing periods of transition
• Self-harm and suicidal thoughts
• Eating distress
• Bereavement and life crises
• Work-related difficulties
• Personal development
Whether you are looking for counselling or psychotherapy, in person or online, our work can help you develop greater self-awareness, understand what you are experiencing and find new ways of relating to yourself and others.
I offer open ended and short-term/time limited therapy.

Choosing a therapist can feel like an important decision. Whether you have a clear understanding of what has brought you to therapy or simply know that something does not feel quite right, therapy offers an opportunity to pause, reflect and begin to make sense of your experience.
I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where we can think together about whatever has brought you to therapy. I work collaboratively and at a pace that feels right for you, recognising that every person’s experience is unique. Our work can include thinking about both your past and what is happening in your life now. Together, if it feels right, we can explore the feelings, relationships and patterns that may be contributing to your difficulties.
I am a qualified psychodynamic counsellor and psychotherapist, working with individuals and couples, and I am also a clinical supervisor.
Alongside my private practice, I am part of the training team at Basingstoke Counselling Service, where I teach across the full psychodynamic counselling training programme, from introductory courses through to qualification and post-qualification development. I also supervise clinical work on the qualifying Diploma training, supporting trainee counsellors in their clinical practice and professional development, as well as offering private supervision to qualified counsellors and psychotherapists from a range of therapeutic approaches.
Teaching, supervising and continuing to work clinically means I am constantly reflecting on my practice and engaging with current developments in psychotherapy. Through ongoing professional development, including further training in trauma and neurodiversity, I aim to ensure that my work remains thoughtful, informed and responsive to each person's individual needs.
I believe learning is an ongoing part of good clinical practice. Regular training, professional development and keeping up to date with current thinking help me provide thoughtful, informed and ethical therapy.
